I managed the artwork for an evolving 15+ SKUs portfolio for 4.5 years.

 

Early on, we focused on unifying layout consistency and complying with FDA regulations. The company later focused on brand development, where we refined the on-pack conversation with the consumer.   

 

Projects included new product development, product refreshes, logo changes, retail displays, and more.

Physician's Choice

Physician's Choice believes that effective probiotic supplements should be affordable for every body. They are primarily an e-commerce business with a strong presence on Amazon. The company moved into brick and mortar retail with nationwide launches into Walmart, Target, and Sam's Club.

Packaging Design

Kid's Probiotic was a big-bet departure from the existing products' look and feel. Physician's Choice wanted a fun, colorful packaging design that stood on the shoulders of its successful predecessors.

We broke through the traditional monochrome style of our existing products and introduced multi-colored illustrations and playful typography.

Pack Architecture 

The team revisited the Kids Probiotic design and we asked ourselves, "How can we allow this product to expand into future kids products"?

We updated the color system and information hierarchy to consider flavor variations and future product benefits. The launch of Physician's Choice Kids Probiotic + Fiber celebrates the refined architecture's ability to adapt for new products and different packaging formats.

Vaginal Wellness Pro

Influencer Box

Vaginal Wellness Pro was the first extension of the Women's Wellness line. With their rising social media presence and UGC strategy, the company wanted to send an exclusive PR box to their influencers - one that reinforced the success of Women's Probiotic and introduced the idea of taking multiple probiotics synergistically.

Amazon Listing Video

We pushed for a more personal, human approach to listing videos with this launch. We took a step back from the usual up-close product shots, and captured a day-in-the-life vignette of our consumer. 

 

I directed this production, in collaboration with a contract videographer and editor. This listing video enforces the updated look and feel, which was established during a 2-year partnership with a branding agency.

Dieline Adaptation

The company decided to retire the plastic cannister and move this product into a resealable bag. The transition included an update to the logo, branding, on-pack language, and dielines.

This packaging transition also introduced 2 new flavors: chocolate and vanilla.
